ArcGIS Monitor is designed to help you analyze and optimize the health of your ArcGIS implementation throughout the life cycle of your enterprise GIS. The following is the Day 1 agenda for this 2-Day course. Day 1: ArcGIS Monitor • What is ArcGIS Monitor ArcGIS Monitor Administrator • What is ArcGIS Monitor Administrator • Set up ArcGIS Monitor • Create a connection to the ArcGIS Monitor Server Application • Register a collection • Add a monitor service • Set Windows service permissions Configuration • Add counters • Define intervals • Configure alerts • Configure email notifications Requirements: • Attendees will be asked to have the ArcGIS Monitor 10.8.1 application downloaded and available for use • Attendees will be asked to have the ArcGIS Monitor 10.8.1 application license file downloaded and available for use • Attendees will need admin access to both their workstation and database servers that will be used for monitoring • Attendees will host their environment to work through any issues and be responsible for host control • Attendees will need to download specific python tools and scripts they are interested in using
